My company’s website is marked at 36,000 on Alexa, but a lowly 160,000 on Quantcast. Quantcast claims that you can up your ranking by registering your info and adding their code into every page on your site. I quick checked a few big websites to see if they had the Quantcast code and low and behold they all did cnn.com, msnbc.com. Who knows if this code actually works on your ranking, and whether or not a high ranking on Quantcast truly is worth the time and effort? Now that the media biz seems to be latching on to Quantcast as their go-to for web ranking See what I mean here, it makes me curious if this gives them legit status?
